Candler Park Fall Fest 2008 Kid's Activities

The Fall Fest will have activities throughout the day for children of all ages. Some of the paid activities include: Jumping in an Inflatable, a 20" Inflatable Slide, Face Painting, Making a Sand Bottle or playing with Laughing Dragon Swords & Toys.

This year Publix is sponsoring 5 FREE activities. Organizers would like to thank Publix for sponsoring the following children's activities:

Publix Tot Trot

10:00 am - Saturday, October 11, 2008, Candler Park soccer field.

Transparent Window Collage

Use liquid laundry starch and tissue paper to create a stained glass sun catcher.

Handweaving

Learn knotting and weaving techniques to make a keychain or zipper pull for your backpack.

Paper, Scissors, Tape

Use paper (different colors, textures, prints), paper products (plates, coffee filters, bags) cardboard (tubes, rolls, small boxes, recycled items), scissors (straight-edged and patterned) and tape (colored masking, duct, plastic, scotch, plastic) to make whatever you choose - free form.

Crowns

Use spangles, ribbons and trims to decorate a construction paper crown of your own design.

Treasure Boxes

Personalize white cardboard lunch boxes with stickers, markers and trims to hold your special treasures.
