Candler Park Tour of Homes
Come visit 9 beautiful Candler Park homes and see why so many people choose to make historic Candler Park their home!
The Tour of Homes will take place on Sunday, October 14, 2007 from 12:00 to 6 pm.
The self-guided walking tour includes nine homes and one garden. The homes range from classic Craftsman bungalows to modern lofts. The construction dates span 107 years. Several renovations have used the latest “green” construction techniques including sourcing construction material locally, recycling all waste material and utilizing spray foam insulation. The Mulberry Fields Garden is a unique oasis in a rapidly developing intown neighborhood.
The tour booklets also include the popular article, "How to Research the History of Your Home" by Robert Craig, Professor, College of Architecture, Georgia Tech.
